Her recent images are reminiscent of the works of Georgia O‘Keeffe, Tina Modotti, and Robert Mapplethorpe. Through her photographs, Iran Issa-Khan shares their intense admiration and daringly close-up confrontation with intimate detail. She invites us to share her vision in a quiet space where one lose themselves to the sensuality of creation.
She has exhibited at A-D New York City and Miami, Art Miami, The Palm Beach Contemporary Art Fair, The Kampong Gardens, Staley Wise Gallery - New York, Holly Hunt - Miami and Mission Gallery in London where her exhibition was featured on the cover of the Independent Sunday Review. Her recent exhibition, “SNAP- PORTRAITS” (first-phase) was presented as part of the Wolfsonian Museum’s Portrait Show during Art Basel Miami. Her work has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Veranda, Haute Living, Polo-The Magazine, Luxe, Canvas, Florida Design, and Complot.
